Yashinon-DX 35mm Wide Angle Lens

The Yashinon-DX 35mm f/2.8 was a wide angle lens manufactured by Yashica in the 1960s and 1970s. It was made of 6 elements in 5 groups, had an angle of view of 63ยบ, and a minimum focus of 0.4 m (1.25 ft). The Yashinon-DX 35mm f/2.8 had an m42 screw mount and its filter size was 52mm. This wide angle lens provided an angle of view almost identical with the field of view of the human eye. Since it produced minimum distortion, the Yashinon-DX 35 mm wide angle lens could be used in place of the standard lens.
