Chinon Monami

The Chinon Monami was a 35mm, viewfinder film camera with retractable built-in flash. It was manufactured by Chinon from 1976. It was fitted with a mechanical leaf shutter with one fixed speed of 1/125th of second and a Chinonex Color 35mm f/2.8 standard lens, made of 3 elements in 3 groups. Monami had a built-in motor for automatic film advance. The camera was powered by one 3-volt lithium battery (CR123A or DL123A). It was sold in both black and red color.
